Income Generating Activities (IGAS):

After getting basic training the female Ansars are imparted vocational training on various subjects for self income generating activities. They produce many attractive items, which are sold of various display centers including display center at Ansar – VDP Academy. IGAs are organized in two ways:

a. Samitee Based:

There about 5000 Samitees for female members all over the country. They jointly produce high quality handicrafts and cottage – industry goods. Sometimes they get financial support from Ansar – VDP Headquarters.

b. Self-Employment Based:

Trained women members energized with credit from the Ansar VDP Unnayan (Development) Bank (AVUB) attempt to organize IGA at their own home. Many of them have come out successful. The AVUB has become the source of initial capital for many women members of the organization.
